A 2006 California Distinguished School, Palisades Charter Elementary School is dedicated to academic excellence, appreciation of the arts, and the promotion of positive social awareness. Kenter Canyon Charter Elementary’s focus as a school community is to improve student achievement and character building for all learners. Admissions
All students who reside within the Kenter Canyon Charter School boundaries will be admitted to the school. Registration packets are available beginning in March with proof of residency. Canyon Charter Elementary, located in the heart of Santa Monica Canyon, is a small, high-achieving school that places an emphasis on academic excellence and ranks as one of the highest performing schools within LAUSD. Canyon was founded in 1894 on a portion of the Rancho Boca de Santa Monica land grant.
